So, last night Justin and I tried to put her in her pack n play (still in our room) for bed. She was fast asleep, but as soon as her litle head hit the bed her eyes were WIDE! So, wanting to get some sleep ourselves, we went ahead and put her back to sleep and then laid her in her little bed. She zonked out and slept her usual 11 hours (with two feedings of course). We thought the transition would be better for naps and then we would work on bedtime.
So my mom came over today and we tried putting her in her crib each time she fell asleep. She slept MAYBE ten minutes each time, if that. We even tried putting her little bed inside the crib, but she was too smart for that!
I didn't want her to be cranky, so my mom held her for a good long nap. When she left, I put her in her pack n play again and she slept for about 30 minutes. She stirred a little, woke up to poop (lol) but stayed in there a good while! Little by little we will be successful. Mommy and daddy want their bed back!
Here is a picture of our small success!
And here are a couple of cute pictures from the past few days:
Daddy's friends bought Leah this onesie. She wore it for father-daughter bonding time while mom was out with the girls.
Nana came back from Boston and let Leah nap on her.
This is Leah's new friend, Lola the Poodle. Thanks Mimi and G!
Sitting in Avery's Bumbo chair(on loan). Leah is holding her head up! I love this face!!!!
Playing with Daddy after work :)
Leah goes to meet my Pawpaw, Meemaw, Aunt Susan, Uncle Bubba, and, hopefully my cousins, Kaylyn and Kristen, on Thursday. Stay tuned for "So many people love Leah 2!"
