For Your First Valentine's Day

My Precious Leah Rose,
On your first Valentine's Day (Mommy's favorite!), I want you to know how much you are loved. Here are just ten of the millions of reasons I love you:

1. the way you smile at me when I get home from work
2. the way you giggle when I tickle you and give you kisses
3. your chubby hands and feet
4. your pouty face
5. the way you get excited over little things and squeal
6. the way you make a bad day better in no time at all
7. your sweet little voice
8. your stick-up hair
9. playing chase around the house with you
10. your soft and squeezeable cheeks

Ok, this "draft" never got pictures, but I am gonna go ahead and post it. I AM working on the 1 year post! Hopefully it will be on time! :P



Leah is such the cutie! Check out her new happenings for this month:

-She waves!

-She can clap! Patty-cake patty-cake Baker's Man!

-She has learned to open cabinets. We have child-proofed the cleaning cabinet, but those things are NOT easy to install!

-She is getting ready to walk by using her walker. She is so proud of herself!

-She loves to watch Wheel of Fortune with us. She waves at Vanna and Pat.

-Her new favorite book is "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?"

-She has gotten very accurate when feeding herself "num-nums."

-She is learning how to climb. Uh-oh!

-She can sure scream!

-She CAN hold her own bottle, but she doesn't really like to. We still feed her 90% of the time.

-She went to her first birthday party. (Happy 3rd bday Avery!)

-She loves her wagon and trike... when the weather permits.
